Advocates for Youth contracted us to make a video version of one of their trainings. The video covers some of the benefits of a specific assessment tool known as the Youth Program Quality Assessment or YPQA.

In order to complete the video, we reviewed a previous video made by another vendor and spoke with advocates about what we should/shouldn’t include in the video. This tool is very technical and the video could have contained a lot of industry specific words that might have overwhelmed the viewer.

In interviews and while writing the narration, we focused on explaining the benefits of the method to the people who are actually using it. We also sought out footage to demonstrate some of the key elements that the assessment looks for – like adult/youth connection, program safety, and active learning.

We are especially proud of our work with the narrator – who is not a professional actress yet gave an A-list delivery.
