Tasty Shop Media was contracted by Urban Movie Channel to help get the word out about their streaming movie service. Tasty Shop hired us to create a #BlackGirlMagic video series for Women’s History Month as part of a larger social media engagement strategy.
Tasty Shop Media and Community Bridge Video staff worked hand in hand to identify iconic African-American women in a variety of professions, and align these heroes to a storyline featuring a young woman exploring the meaning of #blackgirlmagic through social media.
The campaign achieved over 18,000 views and brought new audiences to UMC, especially within the target demographic of Black women. The videos continue to generate views on both YouTube and Facebook, increasing brand awareness for UMC.
